DESCRIPTION
A delicious cat food for adult cats over 1 year, which have been neutered. A reduced concentration of minerals in this wet cat food promotes a healthy urinary tract, with less risk of urinary stones.
Royal Canin believes that a cat’s diet should reflect the various parameters of life, such as age, breed, lifestyle, physiology and individual circumstances. This also includes the food you feed your cat after it has been neutered. Royal Canin Sterilized helps your pet to maintain a healthy weight after sterilization.
Within 48 hours of neutering your cat’s food intake has increased by 20%. However, the energy it needs has reduced by about 30%. Lowering the calorie intake leads to a slight increase in blood sugar levels and helps to prevent premature hunger. Neutered cats often suffer with urinary stones, especially if they are overweight, because they are drinking less and therefore producing less urine. Controlled levels of minerals and a low urine pH help to keep your cat’s urinary tract healthy.
